Meet the Nova radio stations
Nova has five radio stations playing around the clock: Rock FM, Lo-Fi FM, Jazz FM, World FM and Prime FM. Here is what to expect and how to tune in for free.
Sometimes you know exactly what you want to hear. Other times you just want music to start and keep going without deciding anything. That is what Nova radio is for. There are five stations, each playing around the clock, with music drawn from the Nova catalogue and short hosted segments along the way.
How Nova radio works
A Nova station is live. When you tune in, you join whatever is playing at that moment, just as you would with a traditional radio station. You do not need to build a queue or choose what comes next. The music comes from the Nova catalogue, which Loopcode Bilişim Yazılım Mühendislik Eğitim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş. (Lodos Nova) owns, and between songs you will hear short hosted segments that give the station a voice of its own.
Radio is free with a Nova account. You can listen in a browser at lodosnova.com/app, or in the Nova apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.
The five stations
Rock FM
Rock FM is the station for guitars, drums and energy. If you like your music with a bit of edge, start here. You can also explore the rock genre page to see the songs and artists in the catalogue.
Lo-Fi FM
Lo-Fi FM is built for the background of a working day or a quiet evening: relaxed beats and soft textures that let you concentrate, read or unwind. It is one of the easiest stations to leave on for hours.
Jazz FM
Jazz FM plays jazz from the Nova catalogue, from gentle late-night sounds to livelier moments. If you enjoy it, the jazz genre page collects the albums and artists behind the station's sound.
World FM
World FM looks beyond a single tradition, with music that draws on sounds and styles from different parts of the world. It is a good choice when you want something a little different from your usual listening.
Prime FM
Prime FM rounds out the line-up. Tune in to hear its mix for yourself; like the other stations, it plays around the clock with short hosted segments.
When radio is the right choice
Playlists and radio suit different moods. A playlist is something you shape: you choose the songs and the order, and you can come back to it whenever you like. Radio is something you join. It suits moments when you want company and variety without effort, such as cooking, studying or a long drive.
Radio is also a gentle way to discover music. If a song catches your ear, look it up in the app and add it to one of your playlists or your likes, so you can return to it later. Our guide to listening to Nova radio walks through the details, and the guide to playlists and your library covers saving what you find.
A note for businesses
The radio stations are part of the free listener experience, and free accounts are for personal use. If you want to play Nova music in a café, shop, hotel or gym, that needs Nova Business, which includes the public performance licence for Nova music at your venue. Nova Business works with business playlists curated by Nova and your own playlists.
Where to find the stations
The radio page on this website lists all five stations. Open one and you will be taken to Nova to tune in. If you are not signed in yet, creating an account is free, and the same account works on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android.
We would love to hear which station you keep coming back to, and what you would like to hear more of. Write to us at info@loopcode.co.
